About us

AE Components is a custom and stock components company built on decades of real world manufacturing experience. Founded as a branch off of the work and relationships developed by George Helms, AE Components brings a practical and solutions driven approach to component sourcing, tooling, and die manufacturing.

George Helms has spent more than 40 years in the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on automotive manufacturing. He began his career selling Rosenthal dinnerware, where he learned the fundamentals of sales, customer relationships, and understanding product value. From there, George transitioned into manufacturing, learning the industry from the ground up and eventually owning and operating his own successful manufacturing company for over 20 years.

Through decades of hands on experience, George recognized a growing gap in the market. Buyers needed components that were easier to source, consistently reliable, and cost effective without sacrificing quality. Leveraging long standing global relationships built over his career, AE Components was created to meet that need.

Today, AE Components supplies both stock and custom components while also supporting customers with custom tooling and die solutions. Our approach is straightforward.
